I've just added a trigger example based on Brad's triggers:

http://www.marketfeederpro.com/solutions/trigger-example/staking-plans/brad-jones/

He emailed me the other day saying that we may publish his triggers as long as his name is mentioned. Which I thought was more than fair.

I've given it a test on real money yesterday, but did not go until the end, just waited till it recouped the loss and earned a couple of units.

I think it certainly deserves your attention.

Can I take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank Brad for his competition trigger, which he has clearly spent a great deal of time and trouble putting together.
The fact that he is happy to share this with the forum is testament to Brad unselfishness and goodwill.  If you could pass this on to him from me it would be appreciated.

As a stats man I will be fascinated to look at the long term soak testing of such an approach and look forward to sharing with the group the results over a three month period. If Brad has recorded some statistical data already on the longer-term approach this would help enormously. Grin

Many thanks to you and your team for your approach, which has resulted in Brads generosity.

I am not sure if i configured this recouping loss/staking plan to one of my "best" triggers but the results i got in REAL MODE was conmfusing. I think is a very aggressive plan and when you hit a winning streak it takes you really up! ...but from the other side whenever there is a losing streak it can blow out your bank completely. Anyway as i said before i am not sure if i have applied this correct to my already trigger but thanks for sharing this info with us. I really appreciate it!

Yes, early trails would indicate (as Oxa highlighted in her appraisal) that a stop loss and a cut off point is required to ensure that staking does not get disproportionately high, relative to risk.
I am working with the trigger and have an interesting slant based on a trail of over 3000 results in a specific category that may; combined with some proper stop mechanisms improve the overall senario.
As you say interesting idea and approach and thanks to Brad for this.

Hi,

First of all i wish to thank Brad alot for making available to everybody this trigger.
And also the conceptor of MF because it's such a great soft.

I was wondering what would be the "best" starting bank for this trigger ?
I mean, in my opinion the smaller bank you have and the more risk you take, so i'm wondering how much to start with..

I already tried with 500, and after a couple of loss i didn't have such money to lay again.
I had a try with a 1000 bank and i got to 1000 to 1280 in one day, and today i got also positive with 1000 to 1030, so i think that i would be able to determinate it myself after a couple of tries but i would be very happy if someone could give me some advices.

Thanks by advance

(I apologize for my bad english)

Hi guys

I have been using the trigger for the past week or so and would say that it does seem to work quite well. There are times when the amount bet per race is high but overall I would recommend it so far. I am not being greedy with this trigger and have used a £200 bank with an initial lay of £0.50. So far this week my bank has risen by over 10% and I know I am missing out some results purely because every day this week MFPro has crashed well before the end of the days UK racing (but that is a completely different issue I need to sort out).

I will keep going with this and let you all know if it continues to work.

Actually i made some test with this staking plan for some days but i have come to conclusion that if you dont add some limits on your liability when you gonna have a loosing streak it can easily blow away your bank. The easy way it goes up the more easy goes down...

Hi - what are people's suggestions about a stop loss on this trigger?
