Issues Fixed:

- If a market was refreshed simultaneously with one or more Ladders for the selections of that market, the second and third best prices were out of order.

- The saddle cloth number in silks was equal to 0.

- The market's parent ID was different for the same events added through the "Todays markets" menu and Market Locator / corresponding sports node in the Events Tree.

- Due to changes on BetFair, Correct Score markets are now called "Correct Score New", and so the betting code of Correct Score markets was affected (not determined correctly). Please see this topic.

Improvements

- We have added an option to delete all settled / finished events except the most recent markets. It should matter to those who run various staking plans. The need to check the previous settled event's properties made it impossible to delete all settled markets. But now you may choose to leave 1 or 2 (any number you choose) recently settled or finished markets which are critical for your staking plan, and delete all the others.
This option is aimed at reducing the memory occupied by the program when tens of markets are loaded into MF Pro.

Have you found the cause of this yet?  It occurs occasionally when starting multiple profiles and I am sure it was reported during Beta testing.

"Unable to start logging system please change the logger port number in your settings and re-start MF pro"

Where can I find the setting for "logger port number"?

Would it be possible to have the action log selectable in the date selection at the top right?

If you do not restart MF pro overnight, all the action logs seem to run for day after day in one long stream under the title of the day you started the program.  So if I started it on 1st Dec for example, the only date available in the drop down is 1st Dec and all the logs since then are shown in one screen.

Or, at least, this is how I think it works.

Also, would it be possible to reflect the action of the "Clear my markets first" check box in the market selector,  when loading markets automatically (on start-up for example)?

Oxa, just to make you aware that if this option is selected and you have the bug in test mode where horse place markets aren't settling properly, then those markets will be deleted without settling.  Although it's a useful addition to the software, I would advise anyone who has this bug not to use this option in test mode at this stage.

Come on guys - one of you presumably wrote the error message - is it too much to ask what it means, why it might occur and what to do about it ?

I've had a similar message a few times with MFPro 7, but never with MFP 8.  I always needed to reinstall the program to get it working again.  It looks like a Windows message to me and no one understands what they mean.

Markets are not being deleted when finished or settled.
Is this an API issue or latest version.

latest version keeps last 5 markets by default to aid some staking strategies.  This can be disabled in the delete markets part of the settings (see oxa's attached picture in the 1st post of this thread)

Sorry alfaman, I just didn't get to read the comments to this topic in time.

Unfortunately the reasons for the failure of a logging system are not obvious, and this error messages may come up for any of them, not just the wrong logger port number. I will contact the developer of the logger library and ask him to provide more information on this issue.

Hi,


I am having some errors while executing the Time Machine version 8.0.0.12.

1st i receive the error "statement execution error database is locked" followed when pressed ok by.."error during the update of the database". Strangely when i click ok in the 2nd error, the markets are updated (or at least it seems so).

Then i started making my tests and at biggining it seems to work perfectly, but after a while it stops (the time and the TM simply stops).

It seems that the major problems i had with the earlier versions were fixed but new ones appeared.

I noticed another error when i tried to maximize the TM window. It appeared the error "Access violation at adress 007C5644 in module "feeder8.exe.

The TM didn´t maximize the window and i had to close it

Hi again,


I would like to know if a new version of the TM is going to be released soon and if possible an idea of the planned date.

I would like to take advantage of the holyday promotion bonus but, as i can´t use this version and as the subscriptions are monthly, to subscrive it can be a simply waste of money.

I would just like to mention that all the problems I had with TM in version 8, were caused by a corrupted profile.  I suggest you try a copy of the default profile.
