Cancel then lay action help
« on: Tue, 08 February, 2011, 16:34 »
Occassionally a trigger has the right conditions but does not fire. Looking at the trigger log the stopping point is "Either price or amount is invalid: price = 0.05, amount = -9.5.
How can the price be 0.05? Does this mean the horse has refused, stopped or fallen in- play and the offered odds are outside the maximum lay odds in the betting options settings?

any help appreciated.

hi
your calculation for the lay trigger or stake formula is at fault somewhere.
copy your formula and paste it in the user variable monitor, (top right corner of the bot screen, the one with the paper clip).
you will be able to see the formula working.

After reviewing the race, the horse with the unmatched lay bet did fall. Don't really understand why the log indicated a price of 0.05 rather than reflect the actual exchange offer of 1000, but at least i can create a trigger to bypass this scenario in the future
