Greyhound Forecast
« on: Sun, 26 February, 2012, 09:46 »
Hi.
Trying to figure out how to do to make a list for the forecast betting.

Using lists for the win or place market is one thing, using the dogs trap number and name but the forecast only have numbers and they are all the same in all races.

Somenone have any ideas?

Hi. Thanks for your answer.

The problem is that i want to prepare a list of which numbers to place bets on during several races.

If i want to use 1-2 and 2-1 i the first race and 5-6 and 6-5 in the second race, MF will use all four selections in both races.

So if i make a list for all FC races during the day MF will use all selections for every race.

Problem is that it´s only numbers in the FC markets. Is it any way to tell MF wich number to use in the separate races?

Like, Hove 13:13 bet on 1-2 and 5-4
Oxford 14:15 bet on 6-3 and 1-4

And so on.

hi
you have to use
[17:13 Kinsl]1 - 2
[17:13 Kinsl]2 - 1
etc
NOTE the [  ] with the market time and name.

mcbee

from the instruction manual.

Importing Selections for Auto-Trading

You can import a list of selections you want to trade on from a text file. For that purpose you must create a plain text file (for example, using the Notepad software), and insert selections' names there. Every name must be situated on a separate line. Lines must be separated by the break of line character. The selection's name can be preceded by the name of the market in square brackets. For example:

Runner 1

[14:15 Wolv]Runner 2

Runner 3

[Italy vs France / Match Odds]The Draw

etc.

Hi again.

After using the import function as above for a while, i was tired of typing in numbers taken from different race cards, so i tought that i could use the winmarkets selections to create the combinations i wanted.

For example, first favourite, trap 2, second favourite, trap 5.
Combine this two numbers to 2 - 5 and 5 - 2 and place the bets in the forecast market.

But i can´t make it right. Trying both remeber triggers and user variables to get the numbers for the forecast market.

If i use the remember function i get the whole name including the trap number and if i try the user variable i get the trap number using the sel_index function but i can´t combine these two numbers togheter in the trigger.

The problem is that if "variable_a" is 2 and "variable_b" is 5 MF will subract the numbers so i get -3.

Hope somebody have some ideas

hi
2 var triggers, do not tick individual markets and set the triggers for all markets but have a condition
and markets name does not contain (Forecast)
in the value box  sel_index
then with your betting trigger the condition
and selections name contains  (variable name 1)
and selections name contains  (variable name 2)

Thanks mcbee.

As usual i was making it more difficult than it was. Using qoutes instead of brackets was also one of the mistakes.

Thanks again, you have saved my weekend.  :D
