hi
this depends on how much money each of you are betting
if one bets more than the betfair limit this will go quicker than betting below the limit.
also who is getting matched bets and making a profit, as the profit counts more than the amount of matched bets.
and are you both using the same internet speed and/or connection
and if you have .2 set but using the internet for other usage then this will slow your bot responce time.

On the top right below the refresh rates is a timestamp .. next to the time stamp in brackets is how long it took to refresh the market.

if you get less then 0.15 or so then you can set it to 0.2 ... if you get 0.22 set it to 0.3 etc.

if it takes 0.45 (in brackets) to refresh the markets, setting to 0.2 won't help!

hi thanks for the reply, well we both have the 2 euro stake and we bet at exactly the same time towards the end of the races.Speed of the internet is the same and he allways get more matched bets than me and profiting also.Time stamp is like 0.9 per sec is a very fast conection.

I am thinking that because of my setting of 0.2 refresh rate the odds change very fast and don t get to match all of my bets. And at a 0.5 refresh rate  the odds remain little more and the bet gets matched. Is it true this theory?

As I suggested, please check how fast your MFP instance refreshes and set accordingly.

As for getting matched, it's fastest gun first by the time you see the odds someone could have already taken them.

hi
i have an internet connection throught a router and that gives me 54mb, to me that is slow, but i have 3 bots running and the time stamp gives bot 1=.08, bot 2 .41 and bot 3 .41
you say yours is .9 this is slow, what setting have you for your refresh rate in the connection monitor at the top right corner (the graph icon)
also been live all bets go into a que, is your bot showing unmatched bets or are they not been sent out.

0.2 refresh is sufficient!

Betfair only change their prices every 0.2 also .. be careful when monitoring multiple markets .. especially soccer/cricket which can stay in play for long periods and overlap with racing.
