Joint Favourites
« on: Sat, 12 September, 2009, 22:52 »
How does MF pro trest joinf favourites, (or secand favs etc) ?

For exampe if I say back favourite and there are two with equal prices will it back both?

Is this the same with the r_1 nomenclature ?  So if I say back if back price = r_2_back_price and there are two second favourites - what does it do, back one, two or none ?

Thanks
Ian

This is a good question indeed. Here is the rule.

1. If all back prices are different, the favourite will be the selections with the lowest back price.

2. If there are two or more selections with equally low back prices, MF Pro will pick the one with the lowest lay price among them.

3. If those selections have equal back and lay prices, MF Pro will pick the one that is positioned higher than the others in the list of selections. I.e. if they go one after another, from top to bottom, the one displayed above others will be picked the favourite.

In any case only one selection corresponds with a variable made of prefixes "r_", "s_", "match_" etc.

Thanks - glad I asked - I'll have to check my triggers to see if they are doing what I want.
