Profitable Trigger
« on: Thu, 03 February, 2011, 19:58 »
Hi Everyone,
I have been using MFP for about 4 or 5 months now.  I have developed my own simple triggers but I have had a single problem.  I have not been able to find any trigger that is actually profitable.

I have visited the samples on mfp site and went through the majority of them.  I have tried a few different strategies that seemed to work and then have 3 or 4 days of "bad luck"  I have even followed a lot of the suggestions I have seen in this topic without much better luck.

I don't have a large bank to start with (been unemployed for almost a year) and I would obviously test anything in test mode for a few weeks to see what happens.  I would even be willing to purchase a "winning" trigger if it could be proven that it works successfully all the time not just for a couple days.

Thanks for help and suggestions

straight away your are on the wrong track.
there are NO triggers or systems that will produce profits daily.
all systems however good or bad, are long term profits.
you have to learn how to ride the bad days.
look after the losses and the winners will look after themselves.
any system should be tested with level stakes, and if it makes a profit however small, then you can start looking at a staking plan to improve your profits.
this trigger is a good starting point, if you want to use it for the greyhounds then change the 10 mins to 2mins.
use it for the first or second fav, or half your stake and use both.
start with small stakes and have a profit stop at 2.5 time your stake, this gets you out quick most times, the bad runs happen when you over stay your wellcome.

Please read the following  disclaimer with regards to the information you may request and obtain on our forum. This specifically concerns trigger files and various instructions as to how to implement a strategy.
