Triggers - price change - number of ticks
« on: 17 Mar 2011, 19:45 »
Hi,

To find out whether the back price grew more that by 5 ticks over the last 20 minutes, create the following condition:

Trigger Expression tdif_20 is greater than 5

Trigger Expression tdif_20 is less than 5 . Would these mean that the back price grew by less than 5 ticks?

My main question is....Whats the trigger condition for the below?

1. To find out whether the back price decreased by 5 ticks or more over the last 20 minutes....i.e. it was 4.5 20 minutes a go and is now 4.0.

Please help.

hi
if greater than 5 is plus 5 or more ticks.
then less than -5 would be minus 5 ticks or less.

Hi

If you wanted to know if a price has dropped by 25% over the last 4 hours.
Does anyone know if you need to monitor the races for the 4 hours or can the software get the data from Betfair to check the price from 4 hours ago.
Just not sure if i need to monitor all the races all day long to get the data.

hi COLING
for lay odds it is minus .
so l_leap would be minus 4
and trigger expression  l_leap is equal or less than -4
l_leap gives the difference of ticks in 1 refresh

hi
2.00 - 1.96 = -4 ticks
if it is greater than - it must be +
so to be greater than -4 is -3 because -4 is less than -3

hi
try
first matching selection
or
l_leap is the maximum
or
lay_price is the minimum
without a trigger to test it is hard to say the best method.
so play about with the above condtions
