Unfortunately due to the increased security of the new api, market feeder can't do that anymore...its hugely frustrating for those of us who used it, but it's not welldones fault, just the way that logging in is now handled entirely at betfairs end.

Information update

Thanks to some logs provided by customers who can't get through the logging in screen, it has been revealed that the API call responsible for downloading the subscription history of those customers returns an empty string. We currently don't know the reason for this. I have written to BetFair to find out if this is a bug or some misunderstanding, but I guess their working days has already ended today.

I am grateful to those who show some understanding at this hard hour, let me assure you that we are doing our best to minimise the associated hassle.

Will keep posting here...

Thanks to the support team. This change of the Betfair API is almost a re-build the wheel moment for MFPro and I can see everyone is 'hands on deck'. Don't take th enegative posts to heart. You are doing well under the challenges.

Doing a fine job Oxa.

I started to read the thread for answers but here are some questions.
1. Can I import? (a) settings ini (b) triggers (c) Market locators (d) customcells (e) profiles from v7
2. I read shortcuts are now ceased. (bad news for automated bots)
3. Given v7 cant be started now, how can I import customcells (complex multi lined) into V8. I can't even see them to copy, memory only?

just wondered if anyone else is having same problem as me with logs as I am sure that is why vers 8 is struggling for me.If no one is must be my computer, I get the same format for all my files, cant even get program logs to load just says loading file please wait.I turn market pro off, then try to delete the logs and get the enclosed error, which says a log is still running even though market pro is shut down. The only way to delete the log is to turn computer off and on then delete, looks like my log files are getting stuck in a loop and taking up the memory and slowing everything down.

For those with the bad BFSP problem.

I was using three profiles at the same time with 8.0.0.5 and one crashed.

When I restarted then it did show on the log in screen that 8.0.0.6 was available.

I clicked to download and whilst doing so,  closed all three profiles. Then ran the upgrade.

After which, I restarted all three and previous settings and triggers were preserved.

The BFSP runners are now showing in the RH Pane.

My only problem today were the SP bets - now corrected I believe.

But - loading the new version tonight I keep getting this error soon after loading a platform - then it just disappears.  I cannot baby sit it tomorrow so I am going to give up on this until things get more sorted.

I have never seen anything like that before!

PS:  I know you are trying really hard - now!

Hi Guys,

Is there any word on the issue where you are unable to activate the software?

I  have tried installing on my VPS a number of times and I enter my Betfair username and password and then when I go to activate the software I get no response when clicking the OK button.

I emailed the log file through earlier today but haven't heard anything back.

Regards
Steve

Thank you londolozi!
1. Can I import? (a) settings ini (b) triggers (c) Market locators (d) customcells (e) profiles from v7

Yes, you can transfer all of those into the new version. This is what you need to do.

1. Go to the following folder:

c:\Users\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 7

2. Copy all the contents of that folder, except the timemachine directory, into the following folder:

c:\Users\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 8

3. Restart MF Pro. You should be able to see your old profiles, custom cells etc.

2. I read shortcuts are now ceased. (bad news for automated bots)

Yes, I agree that this is bad news.

3. Given v7 cant be started now, how can I import customcells (complex multi lined) into V8. I can't even see them to copy, memory only?
See above on the transfer of MF Pro 7 stuff into MF Pro 8.
