It is now replaced with To Be Placed, isn't it? Should we go back to (Place), anyone?

I'm talking about the my markets view once they have been loaded from the market locator.  In vers 7 the place markets have (place) in brackets written next to them, but not so in vers 8.  It just helps having it to navigate around a lot of markets, but it's not vital.

Yes, I'm talking about the same thing: the word "(Place)" has been replaced with "To Be Placed", and this poses an inconvenience, doesn't it?

Hi

Attached screenshot showing that greyhounds "to be placed" market is not recognised by the trigger setting "place markets" on Mf8

Thanks

Hi,

Just noticed Feeder8 is running higher memory usage than Feeder7, 88396k versus 73556k and averaging about 15000k with identical settings on both versions. Not an issue for me, just pointing it out as it may affect performance when running multiple profiles.

Also, a tip when running multiple profiles of MF8. On my desktop at least, when having a few profiles open they were grouped together on the taskbar under one icon. This meant I had to hover over the icon and when the windows were previewed select the one I wanted. But this was time consuming and I often ended up clicking the wrong preview and had to do it all over.

So, right click on the taskbar menu, select taskbar and start menu properties.
Tick Use Small Icons; On Taskbar Buttons select Combine when taskbar is full.
Tick Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop, click apply and save.

Each profileis now sorted along the taskbar, and when you click any one that profile is opened/selected immediately. Don't know about anyone else, but that saves me time all day long.

Larp

Please try the fixed file, should be working correctly.

Yes, that is quite possible given the structure of the new API. I'll try to reduce memory usage and optimise performance eventually.

Betfair has moved the proposed cut-over date for the new API-NG from the 1st November to the 10th November.   Looks like you have some more time for beta testing, Oxa ;D

I noticed yesterday when running vers 7 & 8 side by side in live with identical triggers and refresh rates, that vers 8 missed about 25% of the inrunning bets that vers 7 made.  (non inrunning bets fired at the same time). The inrunning triggers fired at other times in vers 8 exactly as they did in vers 7, so I know that it wasn't some sort of bug with vers8 that was causing the discrepancy.

I know the issue was with vers 8 as I had different cash amounts set in vers 8 to easily identify those bets (and the amounts weren't below the minimum so they should have fired in at the same time.)

I appreciate that inrunning is incredibly volatile, but it was never the case that vers8 picked up a bet that vers7 missed, always the other way round.

Do you think this might be due to the way that the new api works, or maybe its because the code isnt fully optimised yet, or is it just one of those things.

I mean that the trigger conditions were met in vers 7 and a bet was placed, but the same trigger running at the same time in the same horse race in vers 8 didnt place a bet.  Both versions were refreshing at 0.3 seconds

In other races during the day the bet was placed both by vers 7 and vers 8 at the same time, so the trigger conditions were being met at times by both versions 7 & 8, and at other times just by vers7.

Like I said, I appreciate that inrunning is incredibly volatile and depending on when the market refreshes can affect the trigger firing, but it was the fact that version 7 met the conditions about 25% of the time more than version 8 that raised my question.

hi,

I am getting an error in running when trying to lay off a bet. 2Euro already back matched and when attempted to lay 2euro one click on the ladder getting the error. However when I open the lay button and enter the 2lay manually the bet gets accepted. Its happened twice so far real mode in running

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
