log and statement for vers8 running in test mode today so far sent to the support address

Yes, indeed I can see that a lot of bets were placed but not settled. I assume they were not matched and therefore were lapsed after the market turned suspended.

Do you have the setting "Delay placing and cancelling Test Bets" on in Test Mode settings?

I do have a delay set of 1 second.  I wish it was as simple as the bets where unmatched, but I have a screen grab of where the test bets are all matched in a race yesterday, the results of which never made it into the statement.

This is indicative of the amount of test bets that where being placed in each horse racing market yesterday, and as you can see from the statement I sent you, quite a few of the markets are not included at all.

That's very helpful, so the market was not settled at all. That gives me something to look into, will get back to you on this.

Do you have the program set up to delete finished or settled events automatically?

Hi Oxa,
I've noticed the MFPv8 "in-play" refresh rate is not coming close to the reqd refresh rate (0.2) for in-play- see screen shot attached. My broadband is good with latency <0.25ms and DL speeds in excess of 100Mbps.
Thanks,
David

David,

The connection time is the time measured from the moment the software sent a request to BetFair till the moment it got the response from their server.

Your Internet connection may be indeed of high quality, but their server may be responding with delays. It also very much depends on where you are physically in the world (probably not your case, but as I travel a lot I often experience delays in interaction with BetFair in spite of the speedy broadband).

Do other bots show a better performance (if you are using any with the new API)?

That might be the answer Oxa, I had it set to delete finished markets.  I have now changed it to delete settled markets and I'll see if it stops missing markets in the statement.

UPDATE: doesnt seem to be the issue unfortunately.  In the 1 hour since I changed the setting it has still missed settling 2 markets.  In the attached picture you can see that it failed to record bets in the 15:10 place market & the 15:25 win market.  Although I don't have a screen grab of these markets, I know that there where plenty of bets placed in both as the vers 7 I have running using the same test trigger placed around 20 bets in each of those missing markets.

I have now set it to not delete any markets to see if that affects things.

UPDATE 2: not deleting any markets makes no difference and the statement is still missing markets which have been bet on, in the second attachment it's 15:55 win market & 16:10 win market

armarni, if you iterate through all of your finished markets in My Markets, do you see the yellow WINNER label in each of them?

Update:

Fixed the following issues:

- Access violation when pressing on the blue help button next to the "Choose software mode" drop-down list
- Some markets missing from Greyhound - Todays Card
- Betting error when submitting a bet with an inappropriate persistence (e.g. match at SP in an In-Play market)
- Error messages are user-friendly now (the explanation is given rather than the error code)
- Names of markets were incomplete if added from the Market Locator (i.e. such parts as "Match Odds" or "To Be Placed" were missing)

The file has been updated on the server.

No, now that I've not deleted any markets I can see that the ones that are not appearing in the statements are staying unsettled in the program ie all the bets are still visible in the matched bets window, no yellow winner labels and no settled profit/loss figure.

These markets are settling correctly in vers 7 from the betfair rss feed.

So to recap, it appears that some markets aren't settling in test mode, but this isn't apparent if you select to delete settled or finished markets in the settings as although they arent settling, the program is deleting them as if they have been.

Hi,

Can I ask about the Market Trees./ Race names.

I am glad you left in the option to "Un-Highlight" the markets. To my eyes/brain the blue colour is a contradiction, I think the black is much easier to read/pick up on and should be the default colour for the majority(at least volumewise) of the horseraces i.e. uk,irl.

Also, the longer race names together with the highlights is a bit of a squint. When you compare v7 to the new v8, I think it is obvious which is the quicker, more easily read, see pic attached. I understand why the longer names are being introduced for users importing tipster files etc. Perhaps there could be an option for keeping the shortened names?

Anyway, good job on the V8. I have been running deep triggers and it is working very well.

Can I have your settings file please? You could send it to support if you'd rather not attach it here. The path is:

c:\User\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 8\profiles\%profile name%\settings.ini

For all MFP 8.0 beta testers....some feedback from me

silk_weights is currently wrong in that 164 lbs is actually represented as 2296.  It looks like a divide by 14 is missing somewhere!  Oxa is aware of this and is fixing it.

Likewise Engineering mode.  I can't dynamically change what is displayed in the 10 fields.  It defaults to the fields as defined in the Settings.  Previous version allowed you to edit the fields in real time.  Again Oxa is aware.

Settlement of completed markets (horse racing anyway) is definitely faster in this version as alluded to in the help file "what's different".  So that's good news for staking plan bettors.

regards

Hi Oxa,
I am unable to download into TM the markets I had purchased months earlier.
Can you please advise how to do it. At the moment it is asking me to pay again for the same markets.
Can they not be copied from version 7.?  I tried but got the 49000 day wait to event.
Thanks
R
My grandma taught me not to run downstairs and never back odds on.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
