  • Hello dear members of MF Pro community!

I'm inviting you to test the beta of MarketFeeder Pro 8 based on the new API-NG.

Please apply here if you'd like to participate.

Please read here how to install the beta-version.

Apart from reworking the code to meet the new API's requirements, we've added the following features to lure you in:

    - Markets can be settled as soon as they are finished
    - Data request limits are lifted
    - Bets can be refreshed together with market data
    - Account statements for main and AUS wallets are now combined
    - Easy addressing of football and tennis markets in triggers
    - More decoration to the Events Tree and My Markets

There are more details on these features, as well as on functionality we had to remove, in the program's manual, chapter "Introduction - What's new in version 8.0".

The dangers behind the testing are, of course, potential unstability of both MF Pro and the new API. But we really have no choice, do we? They announced that the old API will be cut off completely on th 2nd of November, so we're bound to use the new version one way or another.

I would, of course, encourage you to use test mode while working with this version, until we've unearthed as many bugs as we can. We're working on this version round the clock, so post here as soon as you spot something wrong. I will try to respond quickly, but if I don't, that just means I've taken a note of what you wrote and will be getting back to you shortly.

  • For those who will be testing with Time Machine: unfortunately, because we can no longer authorise you by username, all data files will have to be redownloaded. We tried to find a workaround, but it is not possible because of the new API restrictions and the terms of the Historical Data licence.

  • Hi Oxa,

I've logged into the real bets version and noticed the "All Markets" list shows up to the letter "S" last one being Special Bets. Hence tennis and other sports beginning with "T" onwards are missing.

  • Hi,

Dogs (FC) markets are now Forecast markets

Dogs (Place) markets are now To Be Placed

Dont know what else has changed here yet, some triggers not working yet.

Horseracing Place Market, doesn't tell if 2,3 or 4 places eg Leops 4.55 25/10/14, but it does on MfPro7.

Some bits of API data are now different, plus we're experimenting with full venue names instead of BetFair abbreviations, to see if this will be an advantage as a lot of our clients import selections from tipsters' sheets where names are in full.

You may need to look in the logs of those triggers.

I've just noticed this myself, will see how to correct this.
