That is definitely the market name and date  ???

Anyway, from not changing anything, I eventually obtained a successful download of that market.
I've just purchased another 12 markets, so will report on any similar or other problems.

Program runs very smoothly, what is the maximum refresh rate that works with the data - I am using 0.2 sec.

Hi

1. I've purchased some markets and everything is fine, but when I tried to use another computer ( same account), after a few successful downloads, I get this message "error while downloading the market: database is locked". I can see all my purchased markets in the event tree but it seems I can't load them in the program.

2. For Greyhound markets the SP is not displayed and any bet at SP is not matched.

Pls let me know what is to do.

thanks
evero

The maximum actual refresh rate is 0.5 sec. You may try to refresh more frequently, but it will be showing you the same figures within a 0.5 sec timeframe.

I have noticed at 0.5 refresh rate, on some markets it shows the same figure for a few seconds - maybe 6 or so refreshes, especially inplay. I thought it was low volume, but there was 0.5million. No real problem though.

Evero, we've looked into the missing SP prices problem and managed to recover them. Please check if you can see SP in Greyhound markets now.

The race menu mentions 50p a meeting but it seems to be 50p a race?
Also the meetings are not complete, races are missing?
Or am I missing something?

It's 50p a race for the Win and place markets.  That is the price Betfair charge, you will find it is more from other suppliers like fracsoft.com, where it is 59p per race.

A race is a meeting, a "meeting" is just a term. Here is a full explanation:

Evero (and others), we had to modify the code to fix the SP problem. You will need to download the latest build:

Cool, thanks guys.
'event' may be a better term to use to avoid confusion.
That is more like Betfair terminology.
In UK, Ireland and USA etc a meeting is the entire card, not one race.

It's hard to believe, but in this case "meeting" is BetFair terminology, and it is mentioned throughout the Historical Data Licence text.
Hope it does not present a big problem though.

Thanks Oxa, that is indeed surprising.
No problem though and the TM is a great tool, looking forward to using it.

Oxa, thank you. it seems it's ok now with the SP for greyhound races but for horse races the SP is not correct, it shows much lower prices then the real SP.

I'm getting an SP error on the win markets for the horse races I've downloaded. Looks like they might be the place SPs? Certainly they are incorrect for the win market.
Is the SP function supported in TM mode?

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
