In this update:
IMPROVEMENTS1.
New Tennis data: who won the toss, who was the first to serve, what the last stroke type was and who the current server is. You can use all this information in your triggers, as well as see it on the screen below the Tennis Scores! You can for example back on the current server if it leads in a game. See the new tennis variables tennis_first_to_serve, tennis_toss_winner and tennis_current_server in the manual!
2.
Race StatusFor British and Irish races you can now check the race status which can be one of the following:
Dormant - There is no data available for this race;
Delayed - The start of the race has been delayed;
Parading - The horses are in the parade ring;
Going Down - The horses are going down to the starting post;
At The Post - The horses are at the post;
Going Behind - The horses are going behind the stalls;
Under Orders - The horses are loaded into the stalls/race is about to start;
Off - The race has started;
Finished - The race has finished;
False Start - There has been a false start;
Photograph - The result of the race is subject to a photo finish;
Result - The result of the race has been announced;
Weighed In - The jockeys have weighed in;
Race Void - The race has been declared void;
Abandoned - The meeting has been cancelled.
This way you can get an idea of how soon the race will start and what stage it is going through. We have added the corresponding trigger condition:
Market's Race Status is equal to ...as well as a trigger variable race_status.
You can, for example, place your bets if the race_status variable is equal or greater than 4, which corresponds to the horses being at the post or closer to the start of the race.
Read all the details in the updated program's manual.
3. The
score is now checked every 5 seconds in all types of sports.
4. You can now check the betting code of
Each Way and AvB markets in horse racing in your triggers. Example:
Market's Betting Code is Each Way5. New trigger variable for the Each Way odds divisor. It returns the number by which the win odds must be divided to get the place odds. Example: for 1/4
ew_divisor will return 4, for 1/5 - ew_divisor = 5, and so on.
6. When using the trigger condition that checks that something is
"in file" or "not in file", you can now put an URL to the file stored on the web, along with the usual path to a file stored on your disk. You can thus link your triggers to files stored remotely, for example, in Dropbox. You can take advantage of this option both in trigger conditions and in Market Locator templates.
7. Your preferred method of logging in, as well as last mode you were working in (BetFair or Time Machine) is now stored between the sessions. Also, the users of MarketFeeder Pro Time Machine only can now just choose "Time Machine mode" from the mode list. This will prevent unnecessary confusion.
BUGS FIXED1. P/L for selections in Each Way markets was calculated incorrectly. It now can show three figures for win + place, place only and lose. In order to see all three figures, switch the market into Full mode. To access these values through variables use profit_loss, profit_loss3 and profit_loss2 correspondingly.
2. Lay bets with the "take SP" persistence were being placed incorrectly when the market would turn In-Play. Their amount, rather than their liability, was fixed. Now the behaviour of such bet is idential to the one on BetFair.
3. We have protected MF Pro's code with a different piece of software, from a third party that provides support for Windows 10. We have reasons to believe that the old provider's code was prone to crashes on the new Windows operation system. Please let us know if you are still experiencing program crashes on Windows 10 even after upgrading to this version.
UpdateVersion 8.2.1.2 has now been officially released.
