  • IMPROVEMENTS

    1. The Greyhound AvB markets have been added to the search template options in Market Locator.



    2. You can now copy the values displayed in the Engineer Mode. Just right-click on the corresponding cell and select “Copy to Clipboard”.



    3. You can choose to not load silks images (the jockey’s outfit) into the program. This will significantly speed up the loading of horse racing markets. You can still keep the silks data (the horse’s form, age, weight, etc.) and just leave out the images.



    The images can be turned off in the Monitoring Options:



    4. You can turn off the green flashing in the list of active triggers that goes off each time a trigger is executed. Apart from less distraction, this may save a bit of CPU resources, especially if you are running many triggers at a high refresh rate.



    PROBLEMS FIXED

    1. Test bets used to be settled incorrectly in Win markets with a Dead Heat, i.e. where two or more runners shared the first place. This has been fixed.

    2. Following the recent changes to BF’s login page, when logging in using the built-in browser, several seconds after starting MF Pro many form controls would become disabled. This has been fixed now.

    We are aware of the two more major issues reported over the last month:

    3. Some markets occasionally become “Finished” before they even start. This is partly due to BetFair removing and reinstating certain markets in case some of their initial configuration was set up incorrectly, but partly to some other reasons, such as the abrupt drop of connection to BetFair. We have tried to address this issue by enforcing the connection. Let us know if you still experience prematurely finished markets, -1 in the available balance or funds and other similar problems.

    4. On some occasions (mostly in the morning) Market Locator does not find all of the eligible markets according to the keyed in criteria (search template). We are not sure what has started causing this, we need more time to find this out, but we have already implemented some fixes to the code of Market Locator, so this problem could have gone now. Let us know if it still persists.

  • UK Horse Racing Markets.... are still randomly not refreshing for a few seconds at a time... they do recover eventually though.... seen it happen in the last 3 I monitored.. Idle and In Play

    Some problems:
    One error in the log attached, funds in MFP were displayed ok, but note the 1 hour difference in the log timestamp.

    After that error, some markets stopped refreshing but did not show as finished.

    Also note refresh timestamp hour difference on some markets.

    After a little while (3 or so minutes) all 20 markets in my markets stopped refreshing and displayed long timestamps.

    The one hour differences have only started in the latest version, and appear at random. Once all markets have a long timestamp, the timestamp matches system time.

    I have sync time with Betfair switched on

    Current Bets window, Cancel back does not cancel all bets in one go, seems to do it in small batches of 2 to 6 bets and then have to click Cancel again and again, eventually all unmatched get cancelled

    Those screenshots were 20 markets at 14 secs refresh rate

  • Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question, I use bet VPS and am I suppose to update the program to the latest version?
    For some reason I thought it was automatic, but when I try, it first wants me to update to 8.1.1.1 and then fails with a load
    of errors? 

    I've updated ok on my home PC but on the virtual one it won't have it, am I doing something wrong?

  • Jimmy B, it's not automatic as some people prefer to use older versions, and we can't force the new ones on them.

  • Sorry it was me I had MF pro open while trying to update it. All up to 8.1.1.4 now.

    Problem with new version. When 'delete settled events automatically' is ticked in settings, settled markets do not get deleted automatically - pressing refresh x 1 on the finished market does however delete the market

    Same error in error log as Mark as per attached

  • I have listened to everything you all have reported (so brilliantly) and have just updated the recent setup file.

    Could any of you please check if the problems have gone now.

  • I've loaded all tomorrows horse races at 01:37 uk time it's now 2:17 - all markets stable none marked as finished like they were doing earlier. 
    I have started 8 markets with 1 second refresh and all seems good - stable for nearly an hour.

    Still getting the empty response message but just one an hour and curiously it time stamps an hour into the future - but this is nothing compared to how it was earlier
