Tricky Trigger ? Come on you experts - please

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a way to trigger this condition (just one of many in a system I am testing).

The silk_weight of the selection I want must be one of the top eight weights in the race.  ie.  it does not matter if the top seven runners all share 11-10  and the eighth is 10-2 for example, I want to pick one of those (as determined by my other triggers) or the eighth, but nothing lower than 10-2.  Or if all the top eight are one pound apart, from 11-0 down to 10-7 I will pick any of them but nothing lower.

Currently I cannot think how best to do this.

Please - nobody trouble themselves with this - I have found a way of getting equally good results ignoring this condition in the system.
