bars on race mode
« on: 07 Jun 2018, 03:06 »
i love race mode at inplay.

but how are the length of the bars made up?
i dont think they are made up just on price / WOM or volume.

they look like ratings or likehood of winning which looks accurate

thanks

I would imagine they are based on the percentage chance of winning based on the current price.
So a horse priced at 5.0 will have a 20% chance of winning (100/5) etc

that would make sense but i dont reckon..

commonly i see the fav with odds of $2.5 say a 60% bar
and the 2nd fav with odds of $6.0 and a bar of 50%...
3rd fav $ 7.0 and bar of 40%

Oxa, if you could please comment?
it looks like a mix of percentage of vol + odds spacing?

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
