« on: 31 May 2016, 18:35 »
Hi thinl i have asked this before and some one said that bets on the exchange showing below the minimum is money left from bets taken, this cannot be the case though as market attached has no money matched yet but has bets below minimum waiting to be matched, how are betfair allowing this Colin

1. Place unmatched bet 2 GBP
2. change amount to 2 + desired amount, say 2.12. There will be 2 bets.
3. Cancel 2 GBP bet and change price of the second bet to whatever you need. Then you get 0.12 offer.

MF can do that for you (switch on "allow small bets" in program settings).

Some people use a strategy of putting in small amounts to see if there is money "waiting" against it or will someone else come in ahead of him. It happens all the time on US racing and the barkers markets.
Betfair allow it because they could not possibly enforce the £2 minimum across all the currencies AND it would stop people being able to green out for small gains.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
