Best staking plan
« on: 30 Sep 2018, 18:41 »
Hi everyone,
Im opening a discussion about staking plans.
Lets say you have a strategy that is around break even in long term. What staking plan are you going to use to make profit? Something like raising the stake when in bad streak and keeping it the same until profit? This way losing bets will have lower stakes than the winning ones.
Ive also heard of fibonacci formula but I dont know if it works.
I will be happy to hear from you.

Thanks and GL!

Hi ludako,

Check out: https://www.roulette-bet.com/2015/02/mathematical-proof-that-progressions.html

IMO you need to show with paper trading a long-term* positive expectation with your selection method.

Once you can show a paper long-term profit (ie an "edge") then some variant of Kelly betting is my preference (ie bet according to your "edge").

Basically, if you don't have an edge, don't bet!

* What is long-term?
Varies depending on what you bet on, for me and horse racing it is 750 races.
