Betfair Non runner Reductions

 My first post  Nice new forum I'll start off with a moan
 
 You set up your trigger , manage to make a nice green book happy days
 Then bang non runner little green book becomes big red book
 
 Anyone else find this a bit annoying , Is the market being manipulated before the
 withdrawals making the reduction factor a farce
 
 Any feedback would be welcome
 
 

I remember blowing a hundred because of a lay dutching which I thought was a complete success until two withdrawn runners buried it!   

My rule is never do it until 30 mins before the off.

 You have £200 in your account. The software lays all runners to a 101% book. You now have £200 back in you account to lay the runners again. You can repeat this process as quickly as you wish. BUT the software does not take into account reduction factors. Recently it was witnessed, not for the first time, a race where one of the horses was a known non runner, doubtful runner, so Betfair set its reduction factor to 0%. So when the non runner was taken out, instead of making a lot of 1% profits the software, with a mere £200 in their account the user lost £40,000.
 

 

But the problem is - how to predict which runnner will be withdrawn? Plus, een if you know for sure that a certain selection will be withdrawn, if its reduction factor is taken into account, most probably there will be no overround book%.

Hi Bampot. That is such a scary amount to play with. Any chance that we could try that with small amount yet?
