If this quick check is right, I am surprised but BOG (Best odds Guarantee) beats BSP or place - see attached.........

On BSP and Place I have allowed for 5% BF commission being deducted.

It does rather look that way Alfaman.....
I have pointed out before on this forum that I am purely a mathematical punter (have been since the 1970's). I don't care much for studying form, going, jockeys and all that malarkey, just mathematical chance.... As everyone here should know, most forms of gambling (casino, slots, lottery etc.) have a 'house advantage' i.e. the odds are weighted in favour of the house, so in the long term, the punter will lose. The only chance we have is to weigh the odds back in our favour. With the rise in online gambling, special offers etc. I do think that is possible, and getting the best available odds has to be the way to go. I know Betfair can sometimes offer better odds, but the 5% commission does rather 'knock a hole' in the profits... Maybe somebody can suggest a trigger to find the best price.. I have experimented with that idea in the past to little or no avail. Until then I'll stick with Bet365 and see where that goes. Thanks for the help and advice, and keep watching...
By the way, don't forget you can get access to Midas 3 for £79 a year, and you have 60 days to try it out and get a full refund if you're not happy. Why not give it a go ??

Thanks BillytheBusker,

Unfortunately I am working, so not around in the day to place bets which is why I use MF Pro.  Ironically if I could get a system to do what I want, I would not be working so would be around to use this one   ;)

Also if you keep winning on Bet 365 (or any other bookie) and make the stakes bigger you will soon find they will withdraw the BOG offer from you I suspect, and if you keep winning at bookies they will stop you betting at all.  Bookies don't like consistent winners.

Well, final day of the test and, yes, it has been a choppy road. Fortunately I have only been testing this theoretically, so no financial harm done. A good day yesterday brings us almost back to break-even point, but the system does seem to rely heavily on high-priced winners, so maybe it would suit those who like a bit of a gamble...  Best of the month were a 16/1, 12/1 & 11/1, plus many in the 5-10/1 area. There were also several high priced second places. One or two more winners and we would be looking at a serious profit, one or two less and it would be a serious loss. Without long term resting (several months) I would find it hard to recommend, but they do offer a 60 day money-back guarantee, so maybe someone else would like to carry on the testing. Many thanks for reading, and attached is the current file including todays selections... Have fun !!

Hi,

Thanks for the updates Billy.

One final thought on the Midas. The more successful it is, then the more people sign up to it; the more people signed up to it, the less likely you are to get a good price. Or the more successful it is, then the stakes will have to be increased to allow for the weakening prices which in turn lessens the profitability. It's an ever-decreasing-circle from my point of view. Or you have to widen your selection criteria, which defeats the initial premise.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
