Clarification on Betfair Soccer markets
« on: 01 Jun 2014, 01:07 »
Hi there,

Wondering if someone can explain to me the exact rules in Betfair markets like Correct Score and Total Goals when dealing with goals scored in the 90th minute of the game.
When I check the scores on results websites it sometimes shows a goal scored at 90+
I assume this is normal time plus injury time and will be included in the total score of the match.
As I understand it, only extra time is not included.  But my question is, how do I know if the 90+ shown is injury time or extra time.

Sorry for my ignorance but I live in Australia and don't know a lot about soccer.

Thanks

Hi
Correct Score and Total Goals are 90mins plus injury. Betfair will close the in-play markets at the end of normal time plus injury time. If ET is to be played, Betfair may open ET markets. You can check the specific rules for each market by clicking the Market Info button as shown in the attached screenshot. The rules may be different because you are in Australia. Also not sure if you guys can bet in-play on soccer.

The results website should show if goals are scored in ET, penalties etc.
Here is a good one: http://www.flashscores.co.uk/
