What methods do you use to predict price fluctuations

Hi All,

I'm a new user and have enjoyed trading on betfair and attempting to 'green up' my bets. Unfortunately I often get it wrong so am curious what methods other people use to predict which way a horse's price will go.

Do you get it right most of the time? What methods are being used out there to achieve a good result?

Price fluctuations are essentially a random walk. There might be some fleeting momentum as new information enters the market but essentially there is nothing predictable.

Google "BetfairProTrader" and the website at the top of the page will have plenty of articles on the matter.
