  • I was just wondering if anyone knows, or knows of any studies done on the Greyhound SP prices?
I know that on the horses the SP is a pretty accurate reflection of a horses chances and over time betting at SP will give roughly a break even (minus commission of course.)

    Thanks in advance

  • I can't imagne anyone has looked into this to be fair as the interest in the dog is minimal compared to the horses.

I was only asking as I have developed a method for laying below SP which is showing good profits for now but I always like some stats to back it up  :)

  • For what its worth i looked over Aussie greys and found too much variability.

In AUS races the charge to the first corner quite often ends up in a collision which affects the runners chances.
Low pools and Low liquidity (large spreads) makes it difficult to get value on the lay side as well
