Hi,

do anyone know approximately at what frequency on average betfair does change their odds when you bet in-play on horse races?

The odds change continuously as they are set by Betfair's customers.
On MFPro you can now set a refresh rate of 0.1 sec.
I don't know what the fastest refresh that's available on the API, but you need to be careful of data charges if refreshing any faster.

If you want to see a very fast refresh on screen then download Betfair Rapid (from Betfair)

I believe the API refresh rates is a minimum of 0.2 a second on the betfair side at the moment. So betfair prices change at most 5 times per second.

Until today, that figure is still accurate. Basically, when we look at it, we can always assume that it's being updated in real time.
