placing bets in engineering mode
« on: 14 Dec 2014, 11:10 »
hi,

this applies particularly when a market is in play, and in this case on the back side of the market.

i want to place a back bet at "best" price assuring a fill, i can do this through the ladder interface but this is simply not a viable option, it could be but only if you are concentrating on one selection.

i would like to click, for example, the empty box next to the available back price, is it possible to assign a "1.01" value to this box? (guess not, but no harm in asking)

how do you suggest i place this bets in engineering mode without using a trigger or ladder interface and at a price much less than offered?

many thank to anyone taking the time to think about it,

erik

Hi
Have you tried the betting interface? Right-click any clickable betting button.
Please read the following disclaimer with regards to the information you may request and obtain on our forum. This specifically concerns trigger files and various instructions as to how to implement a strategy.

Hi No44, where you able to try the tip suggest already? I'd like to know if this has worked for you if possible.

latest reply ever...
no doesn't really work because it takes too much time to right click and then bet at 1.01.

i have a work around, wrote a trigger for each of the participants and simply click the trigger on/off button to place a bet, not the most elegant way of doing it but it works.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
