Possible to test multiple strategies?

Hi there...1st post. Have not yet downloaded MFP but have been an X feeder user for some time....Question, is it possible to test multiple strategies simultaneously with MFP?

My guess is yes, so long as they don't interfere with each other? i.e horses and football, or two unrelated strats on the same sport?

Yes it is possible.

If they do interfere you can install multiple instances (to different folders) ... I use prefixes UK_Marketfeeder ... don't forget to rename the icon on the desktop after each install.

if you run 2 bots then set your max request limit, in the connection monitor (top right side of bot screen) to 9 and save.
if you run 3 bots then set it to 6.

Mcbee, it's almost non-realistic to let MF Pro work with a request limit of 6 if you want to maintain a refresh rate of at least once in 2 sec.

BF charges 5 requests for checking your account funds, another 5 requests for checking the statement, 5 requests for checking the current bets. So pretty often all that is left of that limit of 6 requests is just one, for refreshing only one market.

at the moment i run 3 bots, 2 with 7 refresh and 1 with 6 refresh, the 2 with 7 i have inplay betting, and all seems to work pretty well. ok not fast but if your not trading it doesn't realy matter.

OH, and talking about refresh rates etc, today i found out that even if you have multiple accounts with betfair and run bots on each account, betfair adds all the bots API usage together as if it was 1 account.
