Race Cards In Excel
« on: 06 May 2019, 15:22 »
Afternoon all

Does anyone happen to know how I might get race cards from Sportinglife or Racing Post in an excel format?

I was thinking that a website scraper might do the trick. Does anyone use anything similar or have any idea how this might be done?

Thanks in advance

Hi!

This is their proprietary information, so scraping that would be a breach. You might contact them directly and ask if they can provide you with an Excel file and on what terms.

Also, www.informracing.org.uk/meetings has race cards that you can download in Excel format. Their subscription fee is quite reasonable and they have a free meeting each day.
