stop green up
« on: 15 Nov 2012, 16:33 »
Hi can anyone help me with this problem i have a trigger which backs and greens up with a stop loss which is ok but i have another trigger to lay with no conditions other than to lay my selection but green up or stop loss fires from my 1st block. Can someone tell me how to have stop loss an green up just work in their own trigger block. Thanks for any help Andrew

Hi
The greenup and distribute loss actions work in a similar way to auto-greenup. In your example I think it best if you do a “manual” lay for these, with conditions related to your opening back bet.
e.g. lay if trigger back number of runs is greater than 0
plus your other conditions
you can find formulas for manual greening or distribute loss here:

using this method, your separate lay trigger should remain unaffected by the back / lay-to-green / lay-to-red sequence.

another idea is to set a user variable as a flag e.g. 0/1 in your back trigger and add a condition to your greenup and stoploss to check the flag status before executing

hi yorkiemac08
your green and stoploss triggers should have a condition
and selections back matched is greater than 0
so they will not fire on your lay bet
