  • I was using MFPro in test mode. Logged in one morning, got an error message. Rang helpdesk. Told to email betfair. Got the response "that my account indicates a commercial usage profile and that my account has been closed". What the *****? I have all refresh rates turned down to like once every 4 seconds. Only monitor markets one minute before they start. Ask Betfair how can I fix this? No response except for I can have my money back out of my account. Still don't know what I specifically did wrong. Looks like i'm headed back to the TAB.

    i have many bots.
    and can confirm that this is not just for mfp bots, but for any user of the betfair api.
    they are also changing the rules for uk customers from midnight 8/3/11.

  • They're getting too big and powerful now.
    I've just been reading the new  T&C's and UK clients are now dealing with a company registered in Gibralter.

    Strangely, German clients can now deal with a company registered in the UK.

    It seems they don't want you to have access to law in your country of residence.

  • This problem also happened to me once. I contacted BetFair and they fixed it on their end though I am not sure what really happened either from their end or from my MFP's...
