Triggered betting anomolie
« on: 13 May 2014, 20:10 »
Hi Admin
Ive set up a trigger to only bet when the odds are "1.03 or less" on 1 race it bet it at 1.11 and it lost . Is there a way to stop this and only trigger  bet "at 1.03 or less".
Cheers

hi
the problem is betfair will match all placed bets at the best price.
so you could send a bet out at 1.01, but betfair will match it at the best price available at the time.
if you sent a back bet at 1.03 and the price changed to 1.02, betfair would not match the bet, because the price is lower than your placed price.
