Anybody else have a lot of freezes?
« on: 23 Jul 2010, 19:19 »
I hardly ever get through the whole day without MFP crashing on me.

I can't seem to track down exactly when it happens but it is possibly when a market goes in play. All the races after this happens now will come to life 10 mins before the race like I need but will not refresh prices and no triggers will be fired off. Every price is lit up green/red to indicate it has changed which is why I think it may be when the suspend is lifted at the start of a race

I've turned off as much as possible within the settings ie (display SP, refresh account statement, australian options and probably a few other things) and my refresh rate is only set at 2 seconds.

I've turned off any automatic updates for my PC and Anti-virus and set them for me to manually do it when no racing is on.

It can happen at any time of day.

No doubt it is a fault with my PC or broadband but was wondering if anybody had similair problems and resolved them

Or failing that is there anyway i can get it to re-boot itself when there is a problem?

hi
make sure you have plenty of virual memory set.
and have you unticked ALL the log files in mfp.
you only need to set the log info about triggers if you are testing a trigger.
