As Marketfeeder is a program, it is not immune to crashing. I do regularly save as this is common practice but there are times when I don't and a crash occurs (This doesn't happen often).
I suggest an optional save feature to save at 5/10/30 minute intervals or user defined.
Although I prefer saving manually (to roll-back changes), this will offer more choice to the user making specific changes to their triggers.
