  • Hello MFPro team

It's me again with another suggestion.

I was reading the manual .. again and found "List of Current Bets" which is output to excel of great interest but not quiet satisfactory. This led me to believe that the wonderful development team and do the job required by mean, which I am sure others will find useful as well.

I would like a new log to be generated called bet tracker(csv or tab delimited).

Every time a bet is successfully placed on the Betfair System I would like it added to the bet tracker log. What is also needed is a Betfair ID and the trigger name. A bonus would be a win loss indicator when the market is settled.

Ignoring the bonus part, the first part will enable me to take my Betfair statement at the end of the week/month and link it to my triggers and analyze performance and profitability of each trigger.

  • What I do is make each trigger bet a slightly different amount eg trigger1 £2.01, trigger2 £2.02 etc, then you can easily check performance of each trigger by sorting the statement files in excel.

  • Armarni I also do that .. but sometimes I am partially matched right before the off .. and then there is no way of telling which trigger posted that bet.

  • Hadnt thought of that scenario....hopefully the team can incorporate your suggestion in a future release as it sounds like a useful log to have

If I am going to run a successful show I have to be able to break down the P&L so I can drop the losers and the let winners run.

  • hi
i dont know if you realise, but all this info is in the action log file saved every day.
it gives all the info from time of bet to the trigger that placed the bet.
if you open it using tab and space as the seperater

  • Thank you, mcbee.
Just one thing would like to add:
To make logs parsing easier go to Settings -> Look and feel -> Action log file and set it to "Tabular data"
