Hi Oxa,

Suggestion - update helpfile & formula builder to include market_country and its values.


I seem to recall (but can't find) there is a way of testing which country a market is related to - I expected it to be in with the market related variable but I can't see it.  I have found a post on the forum referring to market_country but I can't find it in the formula builder or the help file.  Someone did reply to an earlier post I posted regarding this but a search isn't finding it so apologies for asking again.

I want a trigger to test a horse race to check it is a UK race and not Irish.

Does market_country return GB or UK for races run in England/Scotland/Wales?

Hi Wez

If you open the 'view variables' window on the main mfp screen, then you can put any variable in to see what value it returns in the currently displayed market.  I just tried it in todays horse race markets and it was returning GB for the UK meetings, and IE for the Irish one.
