  • Hi All

Is there any support for a last traded price book percentage. At the moment, we have a back book % and a lay book %, but frequently there will be no lay book % because one horse (often the rag) doesn't have a lay price. A last traded % would tell us (1) what book % people are actually betting to and (2) whether bettors currently are actually betting at a slight over-round or under-round.

I'd also like to see a lay book % figure displayed for all horses that have a lay price even when there's one or more horses without one, rather than no figure displayed at all. We could then choose whether to act on that (incomplete) data based on our own judgment.  As most horses in play in the latter stages have no lay price then a lay book % based on all horses for which a lay price has been posted would actually provide a rough and ready indicator of the true in play lay book % (the last traded book % wouldn't do this as many horses by that stage of the race won't have had a bet matched for some time and so the data is too stale).

    Regards

    Ed.

  • Hi Ed,

You can easily watch last traded book% by adding two simple triggers that I am attaching here. Open "View Variables" window and watch the variable "ltbook".

Me too. Missing lay book% is one of the remaining issues why i open betfair website. Oxa, lease add this to the wish list!
