Log in to MFPro when betfair down

Is it possible to put this suggestion on the wish list for inclusion in an update.
This morning Betfair was down for maintenance and therefore those who go to work at 8am lose a days racing as it is not possible to load MFPro before leaving for work.

Would it be possible to set up MFPro as follows:
1. users first log on to the MFPro application without logging on to Betfair this will allow MFPro to load.
2. MFPro then attempts to logon the user to Betfair automatically
3. If Betfair is up the login is succesful and markets load automatically if set or manually as normal.
4. If betfair is down the user is notified by a message pop up window in MFPro,  MFPro continues to attempt the login automatically say every 15mins or such time as determined usually from 10am as the maintenance window is usually finished by then.  The user can go to work knowing a days racing is not lost and the user can also create and amend triggers for example even when Betfair is down.

I would be grateful for your thoughts on this. kind regards

Personally I agree with this suggestion.  It would perhaps also allow you to edit triggers even when you have not got an internet connection.

I understand your suggestions, trigger, but there might be problems with implementing them: too many things in MF Pro are connected with BF data and maintaining them offline is not such an easy job.

I have a possible solution. Try creating a task in Windows scheduler, as explained here:

You can set it to try to be launched every 15 mins and make an attempt to log in. If it fails due to BetFair being down, it will stop connecting for now and will re-try next time.

Hi Oxa many thanks for the response on this one.  I will try this.  Betfair was down again for maitenance this week so I lost another day so any solution would be very helpful.  Thanks again

This still appears from time to time. I just wish they would send a notification emails even for emergency maintenance.
