Market Information
« on: 18 Aug 2010, 20:49 »
I would like a check box to allow me to disable/enable MFPro from getting Market information on Market's loading.

Right now there is a check box for "Get price on Market's loading" and I have this unchecked as I am not interested in the prices when I load markets in the morning. Currently my market's just load runner information and that it, but this uses a lot of ram & CPU and I believe increases the chances of a crash especially when you are running all the races and greyhounds in once instance of MFPro.

If the check box was implemented MFPro will only fetch market information when it starts monitoring the particular (5 minutes before the off for me) and this would mean at most I have 4-5 Markets loaded in memory at any one time (depending of course how quickly they settle finished races)

I hope I have made sense above ... In summary
I want to add Markets to "My Markets", but only fetch information from Betfair when I start monitoring the particular Market.

So at the start of your trading day you basically just want to make a list of markets you want to trade in, without loading the horses / selections, and then gradually fetch them from the server as the time of the monitoring start draws near?
