On screen prompt replacing another platform
« on: 14 Apr 2017, 15:39 »
Hi Guys

Having worked with MF pro for may years and absolutely loving the v8 now (i was happy with v6)
there is only one thing on my wish list.;D

I often run multiple platforms that i monitor regularly and make adjustment as necessary however every time a race is settled, up comes the relevant platform blocking your view from another platform.

minimizing the platforms solves the problem but i would prefer it that i did not have to constantly click platforms in an attempt to return to the screen i am working on.

It may seem a trivial problem, but it often cost me around 30 minutes in time on a racing afternoon and evening trying to get back to the platform i require.:o

Hope this is worthy of consideration in a new build.

Thanks

Hi betfair winner
just tested that and I believe it's the sound that gives the window the focus. If you go to settings > look and feel and untick Play sounds, the focus (order of windows) does not change when a market is settled.

incidentally, if you use keyboard combination ALT TAB you can switch through windows a lot quicker than clicking with a mouse.

Hi Mark
No it not the sounds in settings as i have always had these switched off even in V6
But i will try the ALT TAB idea and see if saves me a few seconds.

Its losing the train of thought when trying to check log files etc with all these platforms popping up at crucial times and giving wins and losses when you are trying to focus on the job in hand.

Thanks a lot for the idea Mark

You can turn off profit/loss and other notifications by clicking on the middle icon at the top right of the main window.
