  • Do people thin #k it would be helpful - if possible at all - to have some indication of the rate at which money is being matched on a particular selection - £/sec (or min) another indicator showing the strength of the market to be used in conjunction with WOM and POM etc

  • alfaman,

agree, would be very helpful. Something like matchedvolumediff_[minutes] for each selection  would be very nice. I wrote a trigger to calculate some similiar for the market ( matched volume for last minute on all selections) but I was too lazy to do it for selections.

  • this is interesting, are you attempting to calculate the speed and volume of money matched over say 1 min on each selection? i.e. identifying a possible steamer ?

  • I agree that this would be useful as it would show the relative rates of matched bets as opposed to the "weight of money" which can be manipulated and "spoofed" by traders who seek to move the market in a particular direction.

  • Def better than WOM, big traders manipulating the market can skew the real movers...
