  • Yes, you could be right as my current default profile has standard bred, thoroughbred and greyhound markets all loaded together and as my trigger requires both win and place markets to be loaded so it can compare the prices of both markets. This maybe too much and would be well above the 300 market limit, but strangely seems to be working and placing bets OK in test mode?.

  • hi mcbee

In your instructions for running as administrator your 2nd last step was click apply ( this is always grayed out for me) so I could not operate this step?.
so this might be why this exercise is not working for me?.

  • hi
open the login screen ,hover the mouse pointer over the green icon and click the right mouse button , name the new profile whatever you want but different than any other profile , press enter on your keyboard and now load the new profile.

  • Thanks mcbee,
But this does not help me with the cloning issue?.
I have made 3 profiles for horses, trots and dogs but still cannot clone any of them as that error always appears.
I know at least one other person who uses MFP and they have the same problem not being able to clone a profile?.
Could this be a bug in the software?.

  • Try this to run FEEDER8.EXE as administrator:

Navigate to where your MFPro program files are installed eg. C:\Program Files (x86)\MarketFeeder Pro 8, right click on the FEEDER8.EXE icon and left click Properties.  In the next window select Compatibility and make sure that under Settings - Run this program as administrator is ticked, otherwise tick it and click Apply.

Also make sure that you are logged in to Windows with Administrator priviledges, that may be the reason why it was greyed out in your earlier post.
