  • I am having big problems with my program. It has stop placing bets for 2 days although everything was as it was before. It was working for 2 weeks in test mode but for 2 days it has stop working without placing a single bet.

    I have checked and everything is perfect but still it does not place any bets.

    I have check and found these errors in the program log:

    Unable to send request, 33 The connection with the server was terminated abnormally
    15:02:22   ; API ERROR; Error while getting funds at BF: ;
    15:02:30   ; API ERROR; Error while getting funds at BF: ;

    I need help and suggestions. Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

  • hi
    you need to include screen shots of your bot screen and settings.
    and make sure that the light bulb at the top of the bot screen next to triggers is GREEN, before loading any meetings.

    is this normal?

    I am also suspecting betfair has done something on my 2 accounts because I was charge api data usage yesterday and they did not apply to my account because they said it's first time I have been charge.

  • There is almost certainly nothing wrong with your MFP. Go to the main Betfair site and contact their customer help desk.

    If you have two Betfair accounts they are treated as one for data requests. If you have been running two versions of MFP, one on each account, you have incurred data charges. They do not normally take money from you for the first time but you must contact them before they allow you to bet again.

  • Betfair won't suspend accounts just because you have exceeded their free data request limit.  They will simply charge you for further breaches, so that can't be the reason for your problems.  Have you tried reinstalling the program?  However, you still need to contact Betfair to ensure there are no other problems.

    When you have it working again, make sure your total requests from both accounts don't exceed 20/sec.  Also remember that using the website adds to data useage at twice the rate of the API.

  • hi
    this looks more like your internet connection is failing at times.
    the bot then has to keep trying to get results and account details, so if your internet goes down for a few mins, the bot will send requests for all the data at once.
