Warning when closing the application

On a number of occasions I have pressed the 'x' in the top right corner when I meant to press the minimize icon near it.  The icons are relatively small and quite close together, and I run a number of instances of MFP at the same time which means that I am often minimising an maximising the programme from the task bar to check on different markets.

Would it be possible in the settings to have an extra check box under "request confirmation for every critical operation" that just enables this confirmation request for exiting the programme?

This warning is there by default, you might have turned it off and forgot about this.

We did not consider it important enough to add another setting to the Settings window. You can bring this warning back by manually editing the settings file.

The file can be found in this path:

c:\Users\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 7\profiles\%profile name%\settings.ini

Open it with any text editor and find this line:

CloseConfirm=0

Change it to

CloseConfirm=1

Then save the file and restart MF Pro.

Thanks for the reminder, I seem to remember clicking a check box the first time I closed the programme in the dim distant past.  Just for your information, I don't think your work around works as I've checked my settings.ini files in each of my profiles and they all have closeconfirm already set to =1, yet the programme never asks for a confirmation to close.

I guess the work around is to reinstall the programme.
