Fast forward mode
« on: 05 Apr 2020, 11:31 »
Does running the program in fast forward mode when checking multiple markets affect the results in any way?

I'm assuming it doesn't but wondered as I'm new to using it properly.

Thanks

If multiple markets are refreshed at the same time in the fastest mode, then, depending on your PC performance and the refresh rate you've set for these markets, some refreshes may be skipped. E.g. you've set 10 markets to refresh at 0.5 sec, but this is too much information to process, so Time Machine will be able to manage a refresh at every 2 sec. But, like I said, this depends on the characteristics of your system.

Other than that, there are no restrictions or alterations to the way the markets are refreshed and triggers performed.
Always try your triggers in Test Mode before switching to real money!

Ok thanks

I'm running 100 markets with one trigger one after each other so I imagine it shouldn't be a problem?

Out of interest what's the fastest refresh rate TM supports?

Is it 0.5?

It's 0.3 sec.
But in TimeMachine mode the data has 1 second frequency.
