"strop refreshing market"

as i test one strategy when the market is not in play i want to put a triger "stop refreshing the market" just before the markets go in play. I am talking about "test mode".
I want this because refreshing is useless after the bets matched and i want to reduce the traffic. My netbook is old and i have to save my recourses.

If the triger works and the market stops refreshing then the setting

"Download results from Betfair whenever possible and settle markets automatically"
will work fine?

there are a few ways to do this.
1/   new trigger
stop refreshing market 
(the market that you are betting in)             Favourite(this is for activation only)
not in play                    stop refreshing at bet matched
once per market
CONDITION
and  trigger expression  market_mbnum  is greater than 0

this will stop refreshing as soon as your bet is matched( sometimes you have to re-monitor for a sec to see the matched bet)


2/  new trigger
stop refreshing market 
(the market that you are betting in)             Favourite(this is for activation only)
in play or suspended                    stop refreshing at susp or inplay
once per market
this will stop refreshing as the race starts.

3/   new trigger
stop refreshing market 
(the market that you are betting in)             Favourite(this is for activation only)
not in play                    stop refreshing at 0 mins
once per market
CONDITION
and minutes before the off    is less than      0

this will stop refreshing at 0 mins

Will the market still be deleted when the event is finished if you stop refreshing the market ?

What I do is either delete the market when the bet is matched or set the refresh rate to something like 1 minute if I need the results.

i ve made the trigger , it works fine, the bets have placed BUT
it seems that doesn't work the setting
"Download results from BetFair wherever possible and settle markets automatically"
The bets are placed, my Test Balance has decreased BUT my "account statement" is empty!!
So i can't check out anything.
I ll try uncheck the setting "delete settled events automatically"

i think that you will find it is another problem with betfair not updating the results.
they seem to have hit another patch where they are trying to update there system but creating problems on the way.

hmmm i think i found something in the manual.
in trigger actions section...
"stop refreshing market" : ".......... Please be aware if a market is stopped, the program can't determine when it's actually finished at betfair".
1. it seems that in this case we havent account statement
2. And what about the markets (for example greyhounds) which are not going never be in play??

hmm when i turn in the monitoring manually it works fine!!!
So an anohter ideas came in my mind: is there a way to start refreshing the market after specific time? For example for horseraces after 10mins or for soccer after 2 hours???

or make the last "solution"... activate the trigger "set the market's inplay refresth to"
and put a value that doesn't affect the traffic, for example 1 min?

Has anyone tried every minute here already? I was looking for some results on it to see if that yielded okay?
