Add maximum liability to dutch back trigger.
« on: 16 Oct 2013, 09:33 »
Any suggestions?

I am using the attached back dutch trigger, however, the trigger at times places bet that gets over £100 in other to win £10. At times too it places bets that is less £16 I think depending on the odds.

What I want to add is a trigger that will set a maximum liability of £50 with target profit of £10 of less.

Thanks.

hi
you have included your trigger, BUT it does not include your constants, that are used in the conditions.
if you only want a liability of 50, then set the lay dutch to amount to lose.
the same with the back dutch, set it to amount to lose.
you cannot set the triggers to amount to win and then restrict the bet amounts, because that is not the way dutching works.

Thanks mcbee.

I have one question if you can help?  How do I put it in a trigger if the 2nd and 3rd favorites are in the index between 1 and 4 during in-play?

I want to back the favorite only if the 2nd and 3rd favorite are within index 1 and 4 at inplay.

Thanks.

hi
it would be better to put all your conditions in a block.
then you would have to add 2 extra condition blocks.
first condition block
your existing conditions
second condition block
any other selections rank is equal to 2
and selections index is between 1 and 4
third condition block
any other selections rank is equal to 3
and selections index is between 1 and 4

Hi mcbee,

I have done as suggested but not placing bets. I can't figure out what I got wrong in the trigger. I want to back on any runner which price fall 1.75 or less and in the range provided.

Maybe you can help.

Trigger attached.

Thanks.

hi
i have altered your trigger, it works ok now.
in the constants set
the bet amount
the time after the start to place the bet in seconds.
if you want to bet on the favourite, then it is better to set the trigger to favourite.
also i have used the dorect conditions for the second and third favourites index, so making the trigger simpler and faster to place the bets.

please use test mode until you are happy with your settings
