Another Mod to the Brad Jones Trigger
« on: 12 Nov 2014, 11:23 »
Hi Guys,

I have attached the already modified Brad Jones trigger. The way the trigger works is that if a loss is hit it will recover the loss in the next x bets, say 6 bets. The issue however is that if you then hit another loss the amount you need to recover increases substantially and the trigger cant recover all of the lost money while staying under the maximum liability within the number of recovery steps left. Therefore the trigger hits the x number of bets, under recovers and resets the bet amount back the default.

Can the trigger please be modified so that it keeps a track of the total amount of money lost (keeps on adding as the losses add up) and attempts to recover the money over x bets (the step count should reset to 0 every time a layed horse wins and attempt to recover all the money lost over the next x bets.

In cases where all the money lost cannot be recovered over x bets (say 6) while not exceeding the maximum liability can the trigger please bet set to continue to recover up to the maximum liability until all the money is recovered, then revert back to the default bet size.

Regards
Steve

Can we also have variables so if we need to restart Marketfeeder Pro we can and reset the variables and continue from where we left off?

Thanks
Steve

Hi Guys,

If this is more than a simple trigger request I am happy to pay some more money if required.

hi
here is your trigger
there is one new constant DO NOT ALTER

the trigger will now bet until until the full loss is recovered and a profit of your initial stake minus commission is made, the recovery bet amount is still calculated using the steps and maximum liability.

please use test mode until you are happy with your settings

download the trigger below

Can you please confiirm which variables I need to update if the trigger is in recovdery mode and I need to restart?

I think it is just winstep and currentloss. Is this correct?

hi
there is only one that needs to be adjusted, that is the variable  mb
open the variable screen and type  mb
if you need to shut down, then take the value
when you restart mfp, just open the variable screen and set the mb value to the last value.
the trigger will pick up the new value and recover until it is all recovered.
if you want to recover the previous days loss or/and you do a normal shutdown, you can set the constant     mb      DO NOT ALTER      0      (set to    Start with initial value  )
everytime the bot is shut down it will then remember the last value.
