when i checked the greyhouds prices, i found that the far_sp was close to the correct none sp prices shown most times.

Do you mean that if I use far_sp at the very end of the market, I should get price very close to actual sp? Or..?
Hope is that the odds ranking is as close to actual_sp ranking as possible. For example "rank" 5 should be nr 5 dog when race starts... I try to back and lay if the situation changes. At least in one race which I checked earlier nr 5 and nr 6 changed places. Nr 5 according to back_price was Nr 6 according to sp.
