Betting based on price change [NPG-628499]

Copied from a support request:

I am new to this but have spent the past week trying to learn through help,
forum, and trial and error but seem to be stuck on some elements. Long
story short if you could construct a trigger based on the following, I
think I can do the rest, just bloody frustrated with this part?

I have tried many variables and either the market moves too fast or I do
not have the right coding!

I have backed 2nd favourite for $100 (this much I can do!) at example 4.8

At inplay I now want to back $10 on 2nd F at backed price x2 (this
example 9.6)

However if 2nd F in the meantime firms by $2 (this example 2. I want to
cancel those backs on the drift back out.

I have tried pdiff over time but I dont think time is a parameter I need.
(I just want it triggered based on hitting that price rather than over a
period of time) I have also tried ticks but cannot seem to relate it to
price matched!

I am sure that if you built said trigger It will make sense to me.

so you want to back the second fav at a certain price and if not matched, at inplay place a second bet on the same selection.
if the first bet gets matched then cancel all other bets.
i am testing the trigger now.

not sure if you have it!

The first bet for 100 will be matched before the off and is independent.

Then at inplay I want to back for $10 at 2 x price I got on at pre inplay.

But cancel this bet if price has firmed $2

Therefore if it firms to $2 below original matched cancel the bet at 2 x original back.

In other words if it drifts I want more money on but if it firms by $2 and then drifts I dont want to back. ie the theory being that it has had its run per se!

i have put an option for you to place the first bet yourself or choose the favourite position.
also minimum and maximum first bet prices
second bet amount
with the price times x of the first matched price for the second bet.
option to cancel all unmatched bets
with a price drop less than the matched price.
time to place the first bet.
i am testing it at the moment, so it will be tomorrow after the first few races that i will post the trigger.
if you can think of anything else to add please let me know.

Just checking that you are on the same page with:

option to cancel all unmatched bets
with a price drop (oh I get it, insert amount here??)less than the matched price.

Is that right?

here is the trigger
In the constants
set first bet amount
set first bet favourite position or choose to place the first bet yourself
set the first bet minimum price
set the first bet maximum price
set the second bet amount
set the second bet price (the first matched bet price) times x
set to cancel the second bet  y=yes or n=no
set the price drop (from the first matched bet price)
set the time of the first bet if auto


use test mode until you are happy with your settings

You have taught me a great deal!

Just a few questions.

Can i have same conditions on more than 1 favourite by comma separated favourites?

ie First bet favourite selection 2,3 etc?

Or if 1 per runner how do I open more than 1 block at a time?

the triggers are created for the second favourite only, as this is what you requested.
i will have to do some alterations and test to see if it will work with multiple selections
