Can anyone think........... ?
« on: 08 Dec 2012, 09:06 »
.......of a way to monitor and respond to the amount traded at a certain price in a market.

I know "Last Traded" exists as a variable but that is the "Last Traded Price" and there is no corresponding variable for "Last Traded Amount".

I want to place a hedge bet in play at a certain level but only if a significant volume has traded at that price.  I know from Betfair statistics when to hedge, but those only include bets of over £100 payout so I do not want my trigger to respond to prices where only a couple of pounds have been matched.

I also think Welldone should consider adding some variables from the ladder so we can work with things like min and max traded price and volume at a given price - not so much for the condition described above but for general pre play market analysis - I am sure there is a good trigger to be had based on these if only they were accessible.

Any thoughts.....

thanks

Hi
traded_{price}
traded_last
the first needs the ladder to be open which makes it quite cumbersome.
